Todd D. Sheller is the Executive Staff Coordinator for Washington Dulles International Airport, where he has been a member of the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority’s senior leadership team since 2004. Todd began his commercial aviation management career in 1990, and has served the aviation industry in both the public and private sectors. Prior to his airport management career, Todd was commissioned as an United States Air Force Officer, where he served as a Weapon Systems Officer flying the F-111D, “Aardvark” tactical fighter.
Todd was conferred a BS in Aerospace Engineering from the Pennsylvania State University, and a MEM in Engineering Management from the Old Dominion University. In 1997 Todd was designated by American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE) as an Accredited Airport Executive; and, currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Southeast Chapter AAAE. Todd is the immediate past president of the Virginia Airport Operators Council, which represents the interests of the 67 public use airports located throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia.
Todd has also been actively involved with several Loudoun County organizations; serving on their boards, and is a past president of the Old Dominion Swim League. Todd is a graduate of Leadership Loudoun’s Class of 2016, where his group focused on the infrastructure and economic viability of making downtown Leesburg a thriving walking district.
Todd is originally from Pennsylvania and moved to Loudoun County 12 years ago, and now resides in Leesburg.
